A quick assortment of limit switch mounts or clamps. Optimized to some extent for Prusa i3 with wooden box frame or the flat plate style frame.
The four with “8mmRod” in the name clip onto the two smooth 8 mm rods for the X axis.
The improved one works on the tighter spaces of the flat sheet style Prusa i3.
The offset style is good for working around a bulky extruder.
The three(now four) parts with “adj” in the name are for an adjustable Z endstop. Loosly derived and somewhat sturdier version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:149882.
The short version allows use of a hot end that is barely longer than the bottome of the X carriage. This maximizes build volume. That is good!
The part that mounts on the left hand Z stepper motor is designed to fit a Micro Switch V3 101 or similiar(the last batch I got were labled V7-7B19E9). They seem to be accurate enough to work as precise Z axis limit switches which is better than some other switches I’ve tried. Still looking for something less massive that is just as accurate.
There is also a modified version of rrhb’s http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15683 which works well as a Y axis endstop in some cases.
I’ve also modified http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:153851 to fit a common size of limit switch. That’s the one I use the most now.
Another version places the limit switch vertically, and has four holes to help fit assorted switches.
