Polygonal jewelry made by the masses

Polix is an edgy and bold necklace, here shown printed in two parts out of wonderful carbon-fiber reinforced PLA. It is designed to fit in printbeds down to 6″ square in one go. Attach the parts with chain, rope, or whatever you desire or matches your material.

Designed for you

Juan Carlos Noguera is an Industrial Designer from the Rhode Island School of design, researching how we share things, and how the designer’s role in distributing products to people is shifting with technologies like 3D Printing.

Prints wonderfully in Proto-Pasta Carbon fiber reinforced PLA or in any type of PLA plastic at infill .5 or higher. Support material is suggested although it is possible to print without any with a small loss of quality.
